The hotel’s original Mother’s Day cake, Merci Maman, will be available for pre-order from Saturday 20 April at FAUCHON L’Hotel Kyoto 1F Pastry & Boutique Fauchon, ahead of Mother’s Day on 12 May.

 

Named ‘Thank you, Mom’ in French, the cake has a refreshing citrus flavour accented by a berry compote. Adapted from a recipe from FAUCHON Paris, this is the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, with a touch of France.
