Seanuts Co., Ltd, operator of the hotel reservation system “TL-Lincoln”, currently in use at FAUCHON L’Hotel Kyoto, has released an important notice regarding recent unauthorised access and the potential leakage of its customers’ personal information.
1. Incident Overview
It has been determined that on October 8, 2024, an unknown third party gained access to guest information through the unauthorised entry of the TL-Lincoln reservation system.
According to latest reports, Seanuts has informed us that no traces of cyber-attacks or viruses have been found and the incident is believed to be isolated.
2. Affected Parties
All bookings between the period of July 23, 2024 – December 23, 2024.
3. Nature of Leaked Information

Account information relating to accommodation including full name, email address and member ID.

Personal information including physical address, phone number, date of birth and gender.

Please note, it has been confirmed that no credit card information was compromised.
4. Caution Against Phishing Scams
Neither Seanuts nor FAUCHON L’Hotel Kyoto will request payment via email or telephone, and it is encouraged to never share your credit card details through either medium. Ensure to thoroughly check all direct emails and text messages to determine the source of communication. Please contact the hotel should any activity appear to be suspicious.
5. Prevention of Recurrence
While the investigation into the cause of the illegally gained entry is ongoing, Seanuts has taken due measures to strengthen information security and is closely monitoring all activity on the TL-Lincoln reservation system. In addition, FAUCHON L’Hotel Kyoto remains committed to assisting its guests with any queries relating to the incident and identifying malicious attempts to elicit personal information.
