5th Anniversary Celebration: A Signature Cocktail Collection Inspired by the Gozan Summer Bonfires

Originating in Paris and celebrated for its gastronomic artistry, FAUCHON’s first gourmet hotel in Japan — FAUCHON L’Hotel Kyoto — will mark its fifth anniversary on Monday, 16 March 2026. In heartfelt appreciation for the support we have received since opening, we are delighted to present a special programme inspired by our signature concept, “FAUCHON Meets Kyoto”.

 

At Le Bar FAUCHON, guests can enjoy a collection of cocktails themed around Kyoto’s iconic Gozan summer bonfires, beautifully capturing the spirit of this cherished seasonal tradition.

 

In tribute to Kyoto’s iconic summer ritual, Gozan no Okuribi, Le Bar FAUCHON will offer five cocktails evoking the celebrated mountain fires: Daimonji, Myōhō, Funagata, Hidari Daimonji, and Torii‑gata. Each cocktail captures Kyoto’s elegance through their ingredients and presentation, creating a sensory journey from aperitif to digestif. The “Daimonji” cocktail features Kyoto‑made gin, citrus, and a smoky flourish reminiscent of rising bonfire smoke.
